Jayen Properties and their family of companies have a history of development in British Columbia that reaches back over half a century. Beginning in the logging and sawmill sector in the late 1960s, the legacy that the family has grown and their contributions to the province are the driving force behind how they develop properties today — including over 1,300 market and rental homes and over 250,000 square feet of commercial space. They recognize that each of their homes will become an important part of their homeowners’ lives, a place that will be a sanctuary for them, where they will raise their children, and where they will build lifelong memories. Guided by this responsibility, a set of values are at the heart of everything Jayen does.

Our History
Our history of building homes began with a single-family home in 1978. Since then we’ve built hundreds of multi-family homes across the Lower Mainland.
1979
Construction of first single family detached home in BC.
1982-1991
Growth continued with over 300 single family homes constructed throughout BC.
1989-Present
Acquired original property for Surrey Farms which today is over 500 acres.
1992
Construction of Cascades, a multi-family community in Harrison Hot Springs.
1996
Construction of Echo Beach Resort, a multi-family complex in Harrison Hot Springs.
1997-Present
Founded PHI Hotel Group which today holds a portfolio of 27 hotels including the Marriot, IHG and Westin brands.
2002
RBI Group of Companies including RBI Forming and RBI Construction was founded.
2006-Present
Entered the hospitality industry in Alberta, developing and building 14 hotels in the province.
2009-Present
Commercial and industrial project commence with the 120,000 sq. ft. Panorama Centre and our corporate head office.
2009
Building of Park Central, a mixed-use development in Surrey.
2019
Acquired Pacific Gateway & Deckside Marina in Richmond, now named as Radisson Blu Vancouver Airport Hotel.
2020
Work began on Waddington Homes, a townhome development in Kamloops.
2021
First venture into sports & leisure with the acquisition of Meridian Hills Golf + Wine Club Par 3 in Surrey.
2022
Ground breaks on Park & Maven, a 650 home master-planned community in Willowbrook.
2024
Level in Burquitlam, a collection of 197-units along Lougheed Highway.
2024
Coming Soon! Hyatt House, Hyatt Place, Holiday Inn and Staybridge Suites in Richmond.
2025
Coming Soon! A 36-storey hotel and rental building near the future UBC Campus in Surrey.
